New Magnaflow SS Catback installed (w/ pics)
I have EM longtubes, no cats (3" SS collectors instead), and recently added the new 3" Magnaflow SS system (#16837). It comes w/ an x-pipe that runs into a straight through resonator and out to the pipes back to the mufflers, which have dual 4" round tips (mirrored inside & out). The system never necks down (resonator included) and is a true 3" system all the way from the headers back. FWIW...I've heard pretty much every system imagineable on a C4 and this system absolutely kills.
This is the only system I've seen for a C4 that uses one continuous piece of pipe from the resonator back to the mufflers...instead of the standard two piece. The benefit being that you don't have clamps or weld lines that can be seen from the rear of the car. Very clean looking...see pic on jackstands.
Thx 4 lookin'....soundclips soon to follow.
Jeff
EDIT:
Oh yeah, I forgot the best part...
$581 shipped from www.performancepeddler.com

EDIT 9/8
Here's a soundclip as promised...not the best but you get the idea:
In case the embedded video isn't working, here's a photobucket link to the same clip:

They are great. I've bought numerous things from them over the years ie: SS brake lines, my old Magnaflows and new system & more...
I always dealt w/ Francisco. Tell him you are CF member and you'll receive a serious discount...not to mention, they will beat any price as long as it is on something they carry. Great customer service and super fast shipping.

Much less than the advertised price. If it's the Magnaflow system you're after (#16837), let them know that another member paid $581 shipped and they'll meet that price...ask for Francisco.

You bet it will. It's designed to bolt right up to the stock LTx C4. In fact, I had to mod mine in order to get it to work w/ the LT headers.

Thx for the kind words fellas.
It really is a nice system and you can't beat the price. Will get some soundclips this weekend...has a really deep smooth sound (w/ a touch of insanity, considering I have LT's & no cats). Considering I'm one of the 1st few who've purchased this new design by Magnaflow, I'm kinda the guinea pig and hoped it was as good as it looks...IT IS!

Installed or hooked up to the exhaust?
Actually EM installed my headers a couple of years ago. The ZFDoc & I just recently fabbed the collectors to hook to my new exhaust (when we installed it)...I wanted to keep it 3" (SS) all the way and the EM collectors I had on the car were 2.5".
