Default 4" Toledo Pro hood pic / custom ZR1 motor

I'm asking for someone to post a pic of 4" Toledo Pro hood for the C4 Corvette. I've seen plenty of the 2.75" hoods, & I've seen the 4" hood, but I'd really like to see the 4" hood on a car. So, if you have one, please post it.

Here is a link to a neat 1991 ZR1 custom motor with a Toledo Pro hood...

Are theses considered legal? I remember a couple years back I had to remove my camaros 4 inch cowl due to obstruction of view when it was inspected.

Default Nw fl

It probably has to do with where you live. I checked with the FL Highway Patrol here in NW FL last year, & they said there was no limit. I guess they figure that you'll drive slower if you can't see.
But, I'm not looking for it for highway use. I've just heard that the 4" looks funny in the front when on a car, so I'd like to see the comparison. Here are some pics of the race car of Bob Curran. It's a molded on cowl, though. Also, an aero scoop is used...

Not sure what commemorative stripes you're referring to... Pic? Someone pointed out to me that they looked like those Z16 stripes sort of.
We just took an idea and ran with it and adjusted a little here and there to suit my taste. Couple more pics in the "nissan frontier hood ornament thread" and a more detailed description...
I'm very happy with them, and kudos to the shop owner, as these are all hand done, not decals. He's great

Once again...I have access to several different hoods, but I just need some pics of a 4" TOLEDO PRO HOOD ON A CAR, please. I've only seen some vague pics of it. I need a quality pic.
Thank You.

i think the hood looks good (and i am actually not a huge fan of cowl hoods). I think the "icing on the cake" would be to have a few vents on each side (i.e. the greenwood hoodvents) or something similar.

Not sure what type of quality pic you are after. The first one you uploaded looks good.
Sorry can't help you further, mine is still in the shop at the moment. He sent me this one last night, might give you an idea from the side:

Default Not 4"

That looks like the 2.75" model. The 4" is different in the middle (where Toledo Pro measures the hood scoop height). See the link in the 1st post that contains a sideshow (Below the ZR1 pics & link).

Thanks.
I see, looks like it rises more in the middle then gets a tad shorter near the windshield. Either way, they're both pretty tall. Have you tried other vette forums?

There was a blue Corvette on a forum I saw once, but haven't been able to find again. It was a rather small pic, though.

I find it hard to believe that no one on here has a pic.
