Adding the year is a great idea! I'll go back through all my PMs where I got the info and hopefully can figure everything out. And PM a mod

OK! Added a TON of info (car weights, seats, tires, wheels...) as well as adding the sources of information. I have to go through my PMs to get the rest of the sources, so that'll be up sometime soon.

Thanks for doing this!

I've long used and been impressed with the C5 weights thread. I thought of starting one for the C4 section but it's a lot of work! Thanks again for the effort.

Should be a pretty useful list once I get done with it! (does stuff like this ever end?) That's what vacations are for, right?

Added a bunch of tires and about to PM a mod about moving to Tech and stickying, so don't fret if it disappears!

I know there is a discrepancy between my thin spoke weight and what was reported in the C5 thread. When I weighed the rims I knew others reported 20# so I carefully reweighed each rim and still got 18#. Either my scale is off or theirs is. My weights are from a cheap scale but I was careful with placement and adjustment. I have six of these rims and have tires on and off all of them through track use.

Yeah I noticed that, so I just left all of them on there. There are discrepancies within the C5 list as far as the front wheels go (16 lbs vs 18 lbs) also. I can't vouch for either, which is why I just put it all up there with sources.

Thanks Aardwolf. I'm swamped with work this week, but I'll finish updating the new info as soon as I can.

No rush! It's to cold for to do much here. I'm in the middle of an engine rebuild so I've had time to weigh things but can't work in the cold to long.

It's interesting to note the stock piston weight, 21 oz = 595.339 grams. My rebuild is going to much lighter!

I've got the ABS removed from my track car now, it's pretty light. I'll verify the weight at the post office.

ABS system 16 lbs (ABS pump, four sensors, and computer - year '88)

There are many common parts listed to those years. I think it would be more accurate that it's less useful to the later years so far.
