yeah, those fires can get pretty bad over here. I live in central cali, so I'm far away from them, but if the wind changes, the air will get very bad here. That's what happened during the last set of big fires. The air is already not good, so the fires just make it worse.
From what I've heard on the news, sounds like most everyone made it out of there ok.
