I've had the hash marks and repro GS rims on my car for about 7 years. I gotta admit I could probably go for a change, but its not in the cards right now.

I think they are ok. I've thought about putting them on my 'vettes at times. I think really just because it's something different, not because the car really looks any better one way or the other.
I don't see the fraud/misrepresenting thing. Any 'vette would seem as entitled to wear them as a GS was. The '96 GS has no more association with the racing Corvettes that originally sported the hashes than any other factory production 'vette. So if you like 'em, sport 'em.

... Thats rediculous... Thats like going into the C5 section and saying that ppl are making their cars look "fradulent" buy putting Z06 brake ducts on a standard C5... any way... Heres my love! Let the whoring begin!

Anyways, I love the way it looks man

Ouch! Man that is such a statement!. Does this mean then that installing ZR1 wheels on anything other than a ZR is fraudulent? Or for that matter switching any parts from any series deems one a fraud?

A black and red C4 with GS stripes is not fraudulent. Everyone knows that a 96 w/Imperial blue and white stripes is a GS. Now should someone build a fake GS....... and tell others its a GS. Thats fraudulent!!!
If I could find a color for the stripe to go with my DRM coupe, you could add me to the fraud squad! But I'm keeping the turbines!
