Default Long Live the C4

I remember back in 1984 when people said the 1969 Camaro and
1969 Chevelle were dead. Boy were they stupid. The C4 is a
timeless classic. Long live the C4.

if ya gotta keep shouting about it, doesn't that kind of self-justification tell you something? LOL

The Camaro turned into an 80s wussie machine with no real horsepower sound familiar ? A 69 Corvette is worth a good buck as well but the 84 Corvette and 84 Camaro are all but worthless and rightly so.

I know what you posted my point was an 84 Corvette is is 25 years old and all but worthless. When a 69 Chevelle was 25 years old it was worth alot more than it cost new. A C4 is a fun car I like mine but it is what it is enjoy it for what is now while you are able to do so.

Worthless? oh please.... They sell for a decent price if they are in good shape and have not been violated. No they are not worth $500,000 like a 59 Vette, part due to the fact that so many were built in this generation and part because there are plenty of them that have been hobo'd together with chrome carburetors and rice wings for sale for $5K.

Frankly I couldn't care less what my car is worth on the open market. I love it! That's about all that matters unless you are a used car dealer.....

If you don't like em' don't drive em'......

Back in 1984 you could buy 1969 Camaros and Chevelles for
1,500 dollars all day long. Now in 2008 they sell for 50-100k or more.

He we go again knocking the 84 Crossfire....Did it ever appear to some of you Corvette enthusiasts, some of us like are 1984s and don't think they are piles of junk worth under $2500.

I sold my 1984 Corvette in 2007 for $7200.00. I really enjoyed that Vette.

Not nice ones, I got a little over 7k for my 70 SS in 1983 if my license hadn't been revoked I would have been able to keep it.

God I still miss that 454 SS.

Mike

The 84 Corvette is the cheapest lowest powered example of the C4 Corvettes. That is not my opinion it is fact. I never posted they are all junk or worth $2500.00 however a NICE example can be had for $5000.00 which to me makes them just about worthless as far as Corvettes go. Can you buy a NICE example of any other generation for $5000.00 ?

1984 CHEVROLET CORVETTE $3,900
1984 CHEVROLET CORVETTE, SEE MORE PHOTOS OF THIS VETTE AND 125+ OTHERS FOR SALE AT WWW.BUYAVETTE.NET! Medium Blue exterior, Graphite leather interior. 205hp 350ci Crossfire engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end.

1984 Corvettes arent worthless. It depends on the condition
and mileage. If a 1984 Corvette has 170,000 miles and has been
beaten it will sell for 3k. If its a mint condition 1984 with low miles
it can be had for 8-10k. The 1984 vette if in mint condition
still looks like a million bucks. My buddy has a mint 1985 and he gets
thumbs up and smiles all day long.
