However believe it or not I got mine out in 2 1/2 hours. Much to my suprise I anticipated requiring a minimum of a case of beer to do just this part of it as well but only drank 2 beers.

You drank 2 beers before 8:30AM?! You're my new hero!
yeah I work nights so beer and pizza in the morning is actually dinner for me hahaha
I don't know about you but it still felt weird to me. When I worked nights and did that it felt kind of strange, I don't know why. It was always funny to see people's reactions to hearing that I drank alcohol at 8:30 in the morning.
Wow all of this is amazing. I bought a 92 vert polo green from a ...well he was in jail and the car was covered in bird shyt, but not wrecked...paid 5300 for it. So far I dumped about 7K into it and now am going to paint it...for another 7K...and then it will be worth 9K...but who cares...next...motor time...aint this fun!!!
the sun, a drill & curb did the damage not a person ....
when you thought you have seen bad weatherstripping wait till I post pictures of the weatherstripping on this car. I told my best friend his weatherstripping on his 90 looks show condition compared to what was on this one his reply cant be that worse, then he finally saw what bad weather stripping is.
probably post pics of that this weekend since this will be the next big expense.
Sounds like my old stripping before I ripped it all off. On the halo along the area where the window contacts it, I could poke it and it would let out a nice audible "crunch" with black power and tons of crumbs falling onto the floor.
hmmmmm all thats left of mine there is some accordian looking piece of wire.
Get good stuff to replace it. OEM GM is the best but very expensive..I didn't use it and now have a bit of a leak. The real stuff has that accordian wire in it and is much more substantial, also fits perfect. Some of the repro stuff is just foam rubber and does not have all the little dodads needed for a perfect fit.

Yeah, I found the accordian wire on top of the halo. I still to this day wonder why something in so small a quantity of use is so expensive to replace.
