Default New to the Vette world

I got a 86 convertible with Z06 emblems on the side of it.can anybody tell me what this means. please

That someone stuck ZO6 emblems on a C4. There were no C4 ZO6s. The ZO6 (special high performance) option was offered in 1963, and not again until 2002 or 2003 (someone will surely correct me here ).

Means the previous owner was a dreamer............. Z06 was available in the C5 Vettes, not the C4's. The Z06 was an option package with a higher output motor, someone put those emblems on your car, they don't mean anything, unless someone did an engine swap. If you like them, keep them but be prepared to get some funny looks!

Should probably post a picture of the engine just in case.

Gosh, imagine a Z06 engine inserted into an early C4 convertible and tacky digital gauges to boot. Sounds like a fun afternoon!

I would remove them if you can do so without damaging the paint. I think its kinda like driving a current Malibu with SS396 emblems on it.

2001 was 385 hp and 2002-2004 was 405hp 2006 up are 505hp 427!!! welcome to you in this great world...
