seat base straps
How many web straps were factory installed under each seat? Each of mine have two, but the seat base has hooks for four.

It might be different for early years, but my '96 only has two.
And yes, the seat base does have hooks for four. But the two outside ones are not used.

early c4's used a more exotic multi-wire system similar to high-end furniture and the early style front/rear end wires were simply retained when the two "lawn chair" straps were substituted for the earlier rig.

Thanks. I though it odd that both seats seemed to be missing two.
