They say once you have a C5 youll never go back? I did today had a few c4s then a C5 .Got rid of the c5 a couple of months ago and couldnt deal with out having a vette .So today i picked up a black on black 93 auto. C5 c4 C3 who cares. ITS A CORVETTE .I have a vette again and im complete ,ahhh how i love driving in this weather

I dont need to move south ! as long as theres no snow on the ground im driving it!! plus the you know the car loves the breath of fresh air through the scoops

Exactly, IF I were looking for a Corvette now I would set my budget then look at every Corvette I could find in that price range. If you had 20K to spend you could get a NICE early C3 a MINT C4 a ZR-1 a C5 vert and the list goes on. I like them all ALOT

Tell us whats the feeling difference between the two cars. I know the C5 handles better and is faster in stock form but how do the cars FEEL different if I am making any sense?

I have 2 old Corvettes and an 85.
My brother has a 2004 Anniversary edition in the special maroon / burguny paint. Anyhow, I drove his '04, 3 or 4 times and it didn't do anything for me. Nice car, but I found I have more fun driving my 65, 74 and 85. Nothing exciting looking at his '04's dash or the heads up display. As much as people don't like the 84 to 89 graffic display dash (and their problems), it think it's way cooler. I also like my 85 because it's kinda like older Corvette's, rides like a truck with it's Z-51 suspension, it's just more of a fun car compared to his '04. That's my take on it.
Are the C5's better cars, oh ya. Are the C5's better looking? I like the looks of the C4's better.
