Default How can I soften Hard seats to prevent Cracks??

Hi My 85 vette's leather seats have become really hard and my driver seat has began to crack.

What is a good product to use on the seats to make them soft again to prevent cracks in the leather?

Thanks

My seats were very dry and I was afraid they were going to crack. One of the panels on the seat needed sewing so I took it down to 101 Upholstery in Oxnard. The guy had been doing upholstery for 17 years (probably 20 by now) He said the best thing to use is Baby Oil. Start at the stitching and spread away from it (leather usual starts tearing at the stitching) until the whole seat is done. The part that is the driest will soak up the oil the fastest. Re-apply the oil in that spot. After about 12 hours, wipe the seat down. Apply a UV protector. My seats are very supple now and I do this every two months or so. In between, I clean them and put a protectant on them. This has worked very well for me.
