Help me pick a set of rims for my soon to be painted wet black Vette
This is a picture of how it looked before it went in the shop for paint:
These are the rims I bought. They are C5 replica from J.W. Motoring (OE Wheel Distributors):
So my question is which size wheel adapter do I need and are wheel adapters safe for driving. I usually drive at normal speeds but like to drive fast on highway when possible but most of time its just normal cruising. The wheels I have on now are 16" and I wanted to upgrade to 17" with the black with machined lip look. Any suggestions.
Thanks for any opinions....

i really like the existing wheels that you've got on the car. it's also nice to see a break in color other than going all black. Otherwise, I do like the c6z wheels, and they do come in a 10.5" rear for the c4 fittment. In fact, they also come in an 18x12 rear-fittment for the c5 offset (I don't know if it would work on the c4, possibly on the earlier ones though!)

Those are nice rim choices!
I've always been a fan of the ZR1 style...

What are you going to do with the other set?

Here is an interesting wheel (except for the rivets):
Here is another one that looks interesting from Year One. They are made for the 4th generation Trans Am. You could paint the insets black.

No, I am not leaving the rear wing off. It will be put back on after some repairs from the bolts that were frozen/rusted on for the past 23 years.

The rims that are on the car now will be sold to someone I guess, are you interested? I will sell for cheap b/c I like giving people a good deal, especially in these hard economic times.
