Has anybody thought to run an LS-1 engine off the LT-1 fuel injection controls?
For timing, all you would need is some way to utilize a cam driven distributor like the optispark.........The rest is a piece of cake.
Maybe a L98 car with some sort of flattened distributor body under the front of the inlet.
That way, the digital dash would all work as designed.
Chevy has a front distributor drive already in GMPP. maybe a side plenum inlet like a First manifold with the throttle body off to the side.
and the internals of a Camaro distributor???? (small diameter distributor)

you want to use the LS-1 computer. If its OBD-II is a better setup.

It also can read boost (ahem. MAP values above 1 bar) and add fuel with such.

Leave stock computer in place to control digital dash, speedo, etc.

As has been stated over and over and over, the digital dash is NOT run by the PCM on an LT1 car. Ditching the stock computer will only cause the MPG readings to stop working. LT1 guys are talking about ditching the stock computer for the LS1 computer, I can't imagine running an LS1 with the not as desirable LT1 electronics. Besides, the LT1 computer needs the low and high res optical signals to run, so you somehow need to get the optical half of the opti driven by the cam.
