brake help......please help
i have a 1987 vette and the car came with factory ABS.......
but the problem is.... i just change all my suspension... my front suspension and rear Dana are FROM a 1985 vette. the 85 suspension has no ABS.
i swapped it out... everything bolted right up... except for the ABS. electric connections..
ive hooked up the brake lines and bleed the system
i still have the computer and the whole werid BRAKE system (inside the back of the car) all untouched..
now my question is........WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN I START THE CAR UP AND drive off.. and HIT THE BRAKES...... is it going to stop?
any ideas......thanks

Other than setting an ABS code (and having no ABS), you'll see no difference. Normal braking does not set off ABS, and with the ABS disconnected, you'll need to remember how to drive a car without it (you are old enough to remember when cars didn't have ABS, right?).

yeah
i just wondering ...i saw the brake computer and 5 brake lines hidden in the compartment behind the seat(inside the car)..... and started to freak out.....
so you sayin i can leave the boush unit where it is and the fluid will pump threw it.......other than the abs code...everything is all good...

thats one less burden i gotta worry about.....it been on my mind for acouple of dayss..
one more quick question.... when i bought the car.. i found and old insurance statement. and it said i got a discount for having ABS.. (it said it at the bottom of the page)..... will i still get that discount...
