I would love to add many of the new tech that the C5 and C6 has into my C4. Or get a C6 with the body mod of a C4. I can see it now I got a C6 ZR1 with a C4 body. Ok Im done killing off your brain cells.
My uncle has a black 07 with some serious mods, around 500hp. We drove it from southern Cali to Omaha Ne last summer and it got right at 30mpg all the way there pretty much.
Plus it was a very very comfy ride. I felt like a million bucks after a 24 hour strait through trip. I used to make the drive in my 2000 z71 chevy truck and it rode pretty well too, but was no match in comfort to His C6. I would love to have the cockpit of a c4 in a c6.
The local dealer here in CT had a black Grand Sport on the lot, fully loaded with navigation. The sticker was $68k. Helluva deal for someone with spare ka-ching. When the kids are all outa college, I'll end up unloading these vettes and watch my new vette get 'born' in Bowling Green.

There were 248,715 C5s made and so far over 165,000 C6s made and you have never seen one up close?
I can't even count how many I see in a given day. Where do you live? Are you overseas or something?
I live in the high areas of Oregon. Not in a town, but in the country area. I thought the c6's look gumdropy, like one of those MB little guys. With the soft rolled noses. Then I took the time to get a real close look at one. It was impressive.

I live in CA where there are more registered car's than any state. I don't see C4's on the road too much. By far I see C5's more than any generation.
C6's are really nice. They seem a little too short looking though. The C3, C4 and C5 seem to have more of a common thread in body design. The C6 isn't far off or anything, but they seem a little too curvy and bubbly. The 2010 GS wheels are HORRIBLE and cheap looking. Wagon wheels are better looking.
I'll take a 2001-2004 ZO6 for the money right now. They usually have far less miles than a regular vert or coupe and are better taken care of. Out here you can get them for $22k-$24K with 30,000 miles all day. Seems crazy cheap. I want one, but the '88 will work for now. Shucks

A friend of mine just bought a near mint Millennium Yellow 01 Z06 for $17,500.
I drove both C5s and C6s before deciding on the 2004. I was advised by a couple of Chevy dealerships to avoid the early C6 cars, mostly 2005 and 2006. When you start looking at 2007 and up you're well into the mid to upper 30's at best. Both cars actually feel very similar when driven so I went with the C5.
I'm sure I'll get a C6 in a few years, but good for now
In Oregon, where I live, the majority of Corvettes are C-3 and C-4. We have a sweet 57 or two, and one minty 58. I like all corvettes but my 85 is growing on me every day.
