Corbeau Seats in a C4..... do you have them?
I'm asked a few times a month about the Corbeau A4 seats being installed into a C4... if you have a set in your C4 can you post pictures of them?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Does this make you happy?
1995 LT1. They fit rather tight but they do fit. The price for two seats and the brackets were roughly half what it would have cost to recover the original stock seats.
The seat dealer has even used a picture of the A4 in my Vette on his website to demonstrate how well they fit and how good they look in a C4. There's another guy in town who has A4's in his '75 C3 - they look good in that car also.

Good people to deal with. Spent several minutes on the phone with me telling me what to expect when I went to replace the old seats and place the new brackets in. I may try to shoehorn a pair of Corbeau GTS II seats in my '79 Vette if I can't find a pair of Fiero seats in decent condition for a decent price. If I do buy another pair of seats, I'll go with Autobahnpower again.

Yeah, that was done by the crack-staff who mounted the tires. It worked out because I bought a set of 9.5"X17" ZR-1 reproductions a couple of weeks later and they didn't charge me to change the tires to the new rims and balance them.
Those poor sawblades are so battle-scarred, I have them hidden deep in my garage.

Most importantly, do they seat you higher or lower in the car? Im out of headroom with stockers.

I see the OP is a Supporting Vendor. Are you planning to become a Corbeau dealer? I try to steer as much business as I can towards any of CF's Supporting Vendors, so I hope to be able to send a few dollars your way over the next few years.

THANKS. They have now been moved to the very top of my list. Nice to know they'll sit a little lower too. I too am out of head room with my helmet.

are you able to keep the electric controls and is that the black micro suede pictured? I'm thinking of adding the same ones, just don't really care for the advertising on the top of the seat.

I just took my A4's out of my 89 and put them in the 90Z
I didn't like the bracket that Corbeau made. I made some brackets to connect the seats to the stock power units.
I'll try to get some pics tomorrow

If you're going to drive any legth of time, buy the lumbar pump for both seats. You back will thank you for it.
As for the person asking about the electrical controls - no, electrical controls won't fit the mounting slider brackets (unless you're really good at fabricating). I have read that some people have managed to make their own mounts that allowed the electrical seat adjustment motors to be utilized. The effort to do so isn't worth it in my eyes. I'm the only person who drives my '95 LT1 so I don't have to worry about re-adjusting the seat at any time.
