I was recently driving and testing out the brakes with some hard braking, checking the Anit Lock Brakes, and the brake pedal dropped a bit and had a few inches of play prior to engaging. Eventually after driving and not using the brakes the position returned to normal and the play was eliminated. What would be the cause of this? I checked fluid and it was still at top.

Do I need to bleed? Bad master? AIr in Anti Lock brake Control?
