I'm new to the forum, as well as being a new owner of an old '94 C4. The video for fixing the headlight motor gear couldn't have come at a better time, for my drivers side light just started making "the noise". I've ordered the bushings and am ready to have my laptop by my side, with the video playing.

what the last guy said, link broken on first page, I know it's old, isn't this stuff archived somewhere. Oh yeah, new owner of an 88 C4 Convertible 4x3

Your research is amazing! So I have a '96 LT4 with just under 15,000mi that started flashing the light. I pinned the #4 & #12 & got the following:
C 12
- - -
1
7
9
A or R.
1.0
in that order. OK, I think I have something to work with. I just happen to have another '96 LT4 (32k mi) that runs perfectly, so I do that one for comparison. SAME codes.
I've reinstalled the gas cap a zillion times, put new gas in it, disconnected the battery which temporarily cleared the light, but it came on about an hour later while driving. I also cleaned the MAF filaments & connections on both sides - no change.
I have an OBD II scanner on the way & maybe that can isolate the problem better. Car runs strong & smooth, idles fine.
Any thoughts?
Appreciate the help.

1987 Corvette Repair
I am unsure of what this part is and it’s function. If anybody has any information it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
The top one looks good but the bottom one looks broke. Is there a possibility it is still salvageable? & if not, do both need to be replaced?
