Not yet, but that is what I am prepping for.

Also interested in McClellan award judging...need to get more details on that.

Just joined NCRS and have been reading up.

These are my NCRS judging wheels and tires for local use only.

I kept my other set, on the original rims, with BF Goodrich G-Force KDWS's for long trips.

Yeah that represents a ton of work but the results make ya proud. I have found that brake cleaner is the best for busting grease as well but you hafta wonder about all those chemicals. Great job!!

That's REALLY beautiful! My 85 is white and I'm loving it.

Maybe I'm crazy but I actually love the stock rims. I was so happy mine had them. (Same rims as yours.) I guess I now know they are called "salad shooter" rims.

I think I may go for some of that degreasing on my suspension bits. Mine is pretty clean but it could always be a little cleaner.

Totally agree. My '85 had aftermarket c5 or c6 17" wheels when I bought it. I don't know which because they all look the same to me. These days it seems that every vehicle from full size trucks to SUVs to Corvettes come with spoked wheels. Easiest way to make sure your c4 looks just like everything else out there is to put spoked wheels on it.

So I negotiated to get the original wheels with it (the PO kept them). First thing I did was put them back on.

They are awesome looking wheels!

I must say it looks GREAT but after two years it may need a little cleaning again.

The half shafts really clean up nice too - it looks like they didn't get a buffing, perhaps it is just the angle of the photo.
