if youre going that wide , checkm out the 315/35/17: ive gottem on mine with out any problems
Very good point. I would bet that even the the narrowest 315 will be wider than the widest 285.
One thing I like about the 285 is that it is just a smidgen taller than the 275 and 315. Its not much, but I can tell.
alot depends on the width of your rim, , the 35 or 40 is a percentage of the width, narrower rim , taller tire, at least thats what the tire salesman came up with.
