Default after six months my vette is screaming once again!

My car has been sitting in the garage for almost six months with the valve covers missing, the plenum and throttle body missing, and the headers off. After having to walk by it every day on my way to work i decided that this weekend would be the last. I got the headers wrapped saturday, spend sunday morning putting it all back together and spent sunday afternoon cruising!

I am fairly new to this forum and i appreciate all of the help i have had from you guys over the last few months trying to get the car back together. My father and I worked on this car and drove it for years, he passed away in september 09' and this car brings me a lot of happiness so i just wanted to share a few photos! thanks.

I like a lot of things on this car, especially how you painted (powdercaoted?) the top of the runners which connects to the plenum and not the tubes themselves. Lots of people looking for the two tone look for the plenum/runners opt to do the whole runners one color which leaves an unnatural line for the change in color. Small things like that make a huge difference to me. Same thing with the header wrap, the time you put into making it even really shows.

thanks! I always thought the runners look good as one solid color as long as they match the plenum but i feel like they look a little out of place when they are different colors and that flange isn't the same color as the plenum. i'm glad someone noticed, i was pretty happy with that. haha.

Great looking early C4! I love seeing clean examples of these cars, because there's so few of them running around. The interior is excellent! I'm glad you got it out and about, so you can enjoy it. Thanks for sharing the pics and experience.
