Targa Top rear bolts
I took my targa top to shop and they lost the rear 2 bolts - does anyone know what size they are so I can do temp. fix to get car home? I have ordered the real bolts but won't be he untill wed. I would drive with top off but I live in Seattle and it is raining.

Thread size should be M8x1.25 and about 1/5" long. Because the bolt head has a taper, you will probably have to use some flat washers on a 2" bolt. Don't tighten them down as any movement of the top could cause the plastic trim to crack. Best washers would be "fender washers"; they are available up to 2" wide and small holes like the 8mm for the bolt width.
As long as the front bolts are tight and the temporary rear bolts are snug, you should be OK to get the car home. Avoid bumps and potholes. Try not to drive onto an angled surface so that the body will flex.
