Bryan, sounded like that guy never went to school. I'm very serious but, that was what he meant.

GRPS kids are iffy at best when it comes to things like literacy, math and life skills. They have a tenuous grasp at best at whatever their primary language is; which more and more often isn't English.

Amazing! Flipped photo, barely coherent language skills drove our mystery to 2 pages! Good thing some of us love a mystery....but I also loved Anciano's historically correct account of yet another GM experiment gone wrong.....
"At one point GM experimented with using tiny breath mints circulating in mouthwash as a substitute for traditional transmission fluid. Owners reported an improved social life, but unfortunately several important trans components were found to have premature decay, so the project was abandoned."

Besides, I seriously doubt that the seller of that car would know how to "flip" a digital picture. Plus, he doesn't even mention the fact that it is a right-hand drive in the ad, which is what you would expect if he had flipped the photo. Doesn't add up. I vote it is a real right hand drive C4.
The thing about the tiny breath mints is hilarious though!

I thought we already covered this. The ignition switch is on the wrong side. Unless all you early C4 owners here in the U.S. start your car from the left side of your steering column...

Look at the original pix and you'll see the large brake pedal is next to the tranny hump-for the LEFT foot? That doesn't add up with the other observations either, yet unlikely for a right hand-drive to brake with the left foot....

Now I know how some of the worn-out cars for sale can be advertised as being in "mint" condition!

i would think that if it is a RHD corvette, it would show other features of an "export" model - first thing that comes to mind is the two red reflectors in the middle of the rear bumper, trim molding/black rub strips -
that's just a plain old domestic...

Melting Slicks
There was nothing wrong with the position of the steering wheel in the first photo !
And yes the rhd conversion is expensive, used to run about $12,000 in oz, but i dont think too many companies do c4 conversions anymore.

Photo Shop It?
Copy it to the desktop and drag it into photoshop. Enlarge the interior
and check if dash display, etc. is right-reading or not. Just a thought.
