Like I said, I'v had it on my seats over a year and though I don't wear white pants I do clean them with white towels and it does not come off. I have also used it on my dash and doors. I used a carpet dye on the carpet, just spray it on.
Guess you don't have any light-colored shorts? I have white cargo shorts. Play golf too....pretty good at it.
No. I'm sure you do, and I'm sure you are.

Sure we do. For funerals.

No, they wouldn't. I would advise guys wearing white shorts here to traverse, and exit, the state in an expeditious fashion. En route to California, of course.

Plenty of nice CClubs in TX too. One of my best friends lives in Houston where Kingwood is built. Crenshaw, Kite, and other great golfers are from Texas. Nice tournaments played there each year. Golfsmith and other manufacturers are in Texas.

But did you really contribute to this thread? Can you tell the OP his method is flawed? Can you tell people who are worried about dye rubbing off that it won't happen?
I think the point of these threads is to convey meaningful information, not continually drag threads into la-la land. That's probably more appropriate for OT threads.
I'm not really a stick-in-the-mud either. I can easily recognize the difference between humor and a thread being muddied. I think this is the later unless we help people decide erroneous application steps (for dye) that result in damaged clothing.

From those who've done it.
I think if you query most of the long term members, they'll agree that I'm a positive force on here.

I have successfully implemented a program, that eliminates all Gizmos from my screen. Hence, my canine pal, I can't see that you're 82 degrees, SO THERE!!
oops

BTW: If I were to dye my seats, I'd clean them thoroughly first, use a professional dye product, then use heat (or light coat of leather finish) to seal the result.
I wouldn't use shoe dye myself because I've read it contains wax. (Not sure if that includes the liquid stuff but I'd still be more inclinded to take steps to avoid staining passenger's clothing.)
