Front Fenderwells (bottom 3 pieces) same or different for entire 84-96 run?
Does anyone here know for SURE if there were slight size changes to front bottom 3 pieces of plastic fenders from 84 to 96? I know the fenderwells that attach to the hood got shrank due to extra pcm clearance when they moved it to engine bay in 1990.

I am not sure, but I have seen the center section of the lowers in two different styles. This is the section that goes around the upper control arm.
The two styles I have seen are a molded one that has some contour, and another that is a completely flat piece of plastic. (my 94 had the flat style and I replaced with the contoured style.)
I have also seen that the flat style frequently contacts the upper control arm and causes some wear or notching on the control arm.
I am interested in finding if anyone knows for sure whether different styles were stock or not too.

I seem to have found two different part numbers 10275625 and 10275626 for front lower left and right for 94 - 96 and 14104001 for 89 and 90. but still researching. My hood wells were way off - hit the pcm, the bottom seems to fit but the new 3 piece bottom spoiler is being difficult (I am fixing a damaged car), thought I might have the wrong splash guards

I can tell you for certain the front piece of the 3-pc wheel well was different from early to late C4s. It has a different shape where it matches up to the front bumper.
When I swapped from early to late front bumper, I had to change the front piece on each side. They were close enough to be jery-rigged but not the same.
The is an aftermarket piece that controls dust in the control arm opening but I can't remember if it is a complete replacement of the center section or a part to "piece in".

yeah, I have since verified that. I think the early c4's have slots in the front side vs all bolt holes for the later c4's .

I tried to replace the front wheel well inner panel with one from a friend's '90 parts car and found it about two inches too short for my '94. Both were convertibles, BTW, not that it should make any difference.

The 90's had the squarish front end , 91 and up had the rounded. Anyone have pictures of the two differet styles or part #'s?
Which is to say that I could not tell them apart just by looking at them separately.
