I was thinking all C4's had 20 gallon tanks.

I could have gone a good bit further, but there was no
gas station for a long ways, and my bladder was full.

20 gallon tank, 27 MPG on the freeway, 540 mile range.

Thanks for being a voice of reason.

430 Miles in my 87 Vert before the reserve light came on starting with a full tank of gas.
Driving at speeds averaging 75-85 mph.

If you run your C4 bone dry out of gasoline, it actually holds 22.5 gallons of fuel. At least my 87 vert does.

When I see semis, I punch the gas to well over 100mph to get around in a hurry.
Semi trucks kick up everything off of Illinois roads including other blown out semi tires laying in the middle of road.

I like being out front always.

I am used to Chicago morning rush hour traffic and 4-5 pm ride out of Chicago.

C4's are awesome road machines if you are not afraid to drive them for what they were built for.

When driving normally it will get better mileage than some of those imported so-called gas savers. Nobody asked me how many mpg I get around town. Starting and stopping mpg....not so good but neither is the Altima. We really need to make the point that our Vettes are economically feasable before our out of control leaders ban our cars.
Our cars were banned 15 years ago.

Our cars can really do good on mileage. That is one of the reasons I bought one as a daily driver. It's my economy car too.

In my 94 6 speed I have gone over 500 on a tank a few times, and have gone about 480 miles (1 week commute to work only) quite a few times. I don't usually go that long since I generally keep it full.

My average (at the pump calculations) is about 28.5 in the summer for my commute to work only. My commute is nearly all highway. On trips it does better, and in town it does worse, and when I am playing, it does a lot worse.

I agree with the OP that they can get good mileage.
