Did you really want a C4 ?
Just wondering how many C4 owners really wanted a C4 or was it just because it was affordable. I really wanted a 62 C1 or a big block C2. Mind you I love my C4, but if I could afford one of my dream Corvettes I would drop my C4 in a instant. I wonder how many feel the same way?

I really want a '67 vert or a chrome bumper C3 (preferably with a solid lifter LT-1) - sometimes I want a '57 fuelie also. But I needed a car I could use, maintain and insure as a daily driver and the C4 was my favorite style of the last 20 years. I don't feel hard done by

First time I saw a vette it was a C3 and I loved it... but then I found out about the C4... ever since I've wanted one.
I like the C5 but if I got a choice to pick between a C3, C4 and C5. I'd always take the C4.

Well, aside from being affordable, I like the 80s style of the interior.
When shopping for one, I concentrated on pre 90 models only.
As for the C4 in general, it is the best bang for the buck- corvette no doubt. I would not trade my C4 for a C5, but maybe for a C6 some time, convertible only that is....

I pretty well had a budget that would get me either a C3,4, or 5. I did my research and settled on an LT4.
I don't regret it one bit. It has the power to keep me happy and didn't break my wallet as much as a C6 would.
If money was not a concern I'd a one from every year.

I sold my 1991 coupe to buy a 2002 Z06 as I wanted more power. However, last week I bought a 1992 black rose metallic coupe as I really like the way the C4 makes the driver feel, and I like the styling of the C4 better than the C5. I do not like the C6 styling.

Hey!? What thats a valid question!!??!?!
I really wanted a LS1 Camaro SS... But a little birdie told me about this super clean low mileage C4 at my local chevy dealer and the rest is history! Before I saw the C4 I own NOW... I had NEVER looked into getting a vette, but I took one look at my 1993 and I fell in love!
Now I have no desire to own an Fbody car.

At first no, but I drove by an 84 for sale for a couple of months and it grew on me. I have had 2 C3s and I was comfortable wrenching on them. I ended up buying that 84 and it was a great thrill. A situation came up and I had to sell it. Years later I saw a picture of an 88 35th Anni and I told Kathy "That will be my next and last Vette" . So

I always wanted a Grand Sport. Had to settle on a 94 LT1 initially until I found the red gut GS I currently own. Growing up I also loved the '66 BB vert that my father owned. Red, white top, 427/425, 4 speed, side pipes, knock off wheels, head rests, etc., whats not to love? I now have that as well. After having both in the garage for about 5 years, I hardly drive either? I think I may be slowly getting over the cars I have and may need to move on to something new soon? Ive been confised about this for quite some time.

I've wanted a C4 since I drove one for the first time back in '84. I've owned a '85 and currently own a '93. The next C4 I want is a Callaway Twin Turbo and I'm not picky about the year or a ZR1. I'm hooked on the C4.

Well I'm looking. Actually watching one on ebay right now. I started out wanting a C5 for about 5-6 yrs now. But budget constraints have me shoping C4s. And you know what? I actually am begining to like the looks better. Not as fat and overweight looking. I'm going 94-96 and as I understand it the underpinnings aren't that much different than the C5. I took the TR8 out for a spin today. If my butt fits that seat, I'm sure a C4 will be fine.
