I wish there were sticky post still.. I bump this when someone ask me about how to.. Same with the wiper motor vids on the c2-c3 cars.. it seems to get lost in the threads.

I received an email question a few days ago asking me to comment on another video thread. I’m not going to comment on another person’s video thread and will reserve my comments for this video only. While I do not agree with some of the techniques or tools used, it is an awesome video and a great effort by someone that dedicated their time to help others. Very commendable!
The question directed my way was about grease and the Delrin bushings. The Delrin bushings were designed to run dry without grease, and the only time I would ever put grease in there is if I used something other than Delrin. It is just my opinion but if the bushings were designed to be run dry, then dry I shall run them.
Delrin can be greased without issues to the bushings or other parts. My concern would be the grease collecting dirt and it really isn’t a concern at all since the motors are sealed units (unless damaged).
