There were a few great pic threads on this forum that I referenced when I repaired both of mine a few years ago - but this video would have been great. Look forward to the next few....

Thank you!

We like doing this stuff and have done several on the C1,2, and 3 cars. I think the wiper motor videos are the most popular.

This was the first C4 one we have done! Look forward to doing more already have projects on the cooker!

There is also a section on the site for help and repair that needs a c4 boost next.

You can search the help and repair section by year just like looking for parts.

Thanks for your Headlight video. I would suggest that a piece on installing water pump seals would be appropriate. Since the seal installation tool seems no longer available, the home mechanic must make one out of the cap of 1/2 dia Marks-A-Lot pen. Drill out center and file smooth. the larger end will fit nicely over the WP gear shoulder. So Slide the seal on the cap from the small end until the lip of the seal is even with the cap's large end. Now place over the WP gear shoulder ,it will stay on with a little pressure. Cover with 11/16's socket and strike with hammer. The seal will start into receiver and the seal teflon lip will be prpperly started on the shoulder. Temove socket and cap and tap seal into place.

This advice from several on the C-4 Forum that saved me from the nightmare of chasing a WP seal oil leak after reassempling from Optispark installation. Clever, effective tool!

I put a link to your new video in the C4Tech Headlight repair thread. This thread has become a part of the sticky tech-tips thread.
