I have a pad that sits on the console, looks about the same thickness.
I tried using doubleback tape to stick it down to the console lid and had problems. Couldn't open the console enough to get in because the added pad was hitting the passenger seat well before the console was open.
How does your differ in opening the console lid?
I like the looks of yours but if it doesn't allow the lid to open fully in addition to providing a cushion for my elbow then it won't work for me.
I have an 86 convertible if that makes a difference.

You can still open the lid the entire way with ours...

I love mine but there is no way it will open all the way, I tried moving the passenger seat all the way forward or back it doesn't matter it still hits it when you open the console.
I still like it and I would recommend it to anyone.

I really like mine - I bought a used console box door and your pad to cover the discoloration on the top of it. Here's a pic along with the new seats - I think it looks great!

I bought one for my C4, loved it, and what even better, the cushion is little thicker, so it was perfect height to rest your arm, without tilting your body.
I also loved so much bought one for my C6, great vender to do business with, fast delivery.
