Default anyone buy from american hydrocarbon?

I am thinking about buying some trim pieces from the company American Hydrocarbon. I saw their ad in Corvette mag and the products on their website look pretty cool. Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them and what was your experience? did everything fit right and was the quality good. If you had any problems how was customer service? Does anyone know of any other companies that make good interior trim pieces in hydrocarbon? I have a 96 and I am looking for shifter plate and radio bezel for now. Thanks

I had my interior done by American Hydrocarbon about two years ago, it still looks as good as the day I got it. Pat is great to work with and if anything is not exactly how you want he will do anything he can to make it right. I would suggest buying extra pieces and having them done then selling your originals as it may take a few weeks to get everything back. Heres a Pic

I somehow have never taken up close detailed pics, here's another one though. I have the brushed aluminum look but most go with carbon fiber or colored carbon fiber look, lots of pictures of those finishes available through his website and the c5/c6 sections.

Default Carbon Fiber

I have done many C4 cars on the forum. I also did the editor of Vette Magazines' 96. Here is the link to the article.

I forgot about this thread. I am still waiting for my parts almost a month later. Pat did at least call me back and try and explain things. I can't say that I am happy but I do hope to find out if it's worth it. He told me that they will be here by friday so we'll see. He does seem like a genuinely nice guy so s*%t happens and we move on. These are the finishing touches to my lt4 interior overhaul so I have been anxious to finish it. I will post the pics as I love the result so far and I need some opinions on my color combinations. can't wait to see what the polo green guys think

That would be my only complaint is the turn around time. I was unaware that it was still taking that long to get parts back. Luckily when I did mine, it was summer time so I wasnt driving it that much.

Your parts did in fact ship on Thursday
UPS 1Z1127F40398479535 Scheduled Delivery is Tuesday.
I tried to get them done so I could have them to you by Friday. We usually run two to three weeks but things do get in the way and sometimes it takes longer. Life is not fair but we have to play the hand we are dealt.

I had all my dash parts and console done by Pat at hydrocarbon and I could not be more satisfied. He is great to work with and his advice was great. They were done in the time table he said and were perfect and they look great back in the car. Would highly recommend. Scott

Takes a while but he told me 3 week lead time .Very happy with the pieces he sent me. Any
way I had a off beat delivery story with mine. I called him after waiting on my pieces ,Pat informed me he had shipped them .After he tracked them we found the in Dallas Tx. Still after no delivery and no movement on the tracking info a gentleman that lived 8 miles from me shows up at door with the package . He then tells me UPS left this package on his doorstep. He typed the address on gps and brought the package to me . I bought him a nice lunch .

Looks real good. Love the c4 later style interior with red graphics done on the bezels. Amazing

wish there was a real carbon fiber option but yeah, good stuff

Honestly, i havent seen their duplicated carbon fiber look up close so I guess I cant say much.

had a real carbon fiber steering wheel done(by a difft company) and it looks 👍
