Default 85' Rear Bumper Energy Absorber

What kind of bolts or retainers hold the rear bumper energy absorber (plastic honeycomb) to the aluminum plate on a 85' Vette. There are 8 holes.
My parts and service manual do not make any indication at least that I can find.

I recently inherited this vette and it was totally stripped down for paint. I recently just put the front end back together. It is a PITA to put something back together you did not take apart.

If I remember correctly, the inner structure is attached using screws. There really is no structural issue as the piece merely needs to be held in place.

Thanks Fred. I went purchased some of those black plastic push rivets yesterday and they did the job nicely.
