Baseline '87 named RUKAN (Means consistent) and my B2K named Sandra (Means Sandra..)
I have had RUKAN for many years and she has been well taken care of, hence VERY RELIABLE. I would get in her and drive her cross-country any time, and have done so many times.
Sandra has been mine for going on 4 years. She needed lots of TLC from inactivity for almost 10 years, which she got. Replaced most every hose/relay/lines/shocks/pumps. Rebuilt engine (THANKS DOUG Rippie!)/turbos (upgraded internally but used same OEM housings with 2016 IHI internals to keep originality,) and rebuilt tranny and 4+3 overdrive by SK Speed (Thanks Brian.) She is faster than new but looks OEM.
I DRIVE may cars as they should be; with enjoyment but dont track them or run them hard at WOT all the time. SURE I let them go once in a while to verify performance, but that is not the norm.

i am in the southern part of Indiana and oddly enough so far this as been a dream winter for a new Corvette owner here. Put 3000 miles on her from September.
