I'm curious, how do Saudis car enthusiasts, and other car guys in the Gulf, view Corvettes? I've been wondering about that since the ZR1 was introduced in Dubai. I'd always thought car guys in that area were more into Italian and European supercars.

My 1994 6spd.

Didn't care for the Sport Seat Covers so I ordered Base Covers.

Default !984

I bought this in the spring of 2018 just before the last snow storm in Wisconsin. It did need some TLC as it sat for some time. With the snow i had time to work on it.

I love those BBS Rims. I had them on my 88 Convertible back in '89.

Time to post some pictures here again. My MY1988, produced on 29th February 1988 (technically I only get to celebrate its birthday every other 4 years...) with Dark Red Metallic and black leather interior. Z52 and G92 and an automatic make it a great mixture of sports car and tourer. One of the PO changed the wheels to one of the older designs. I like it that way. Also, the exhaust was modified and is now slightly louder but without overdoing it.
Was sold new in Arizona, then spend some years in Nevada and California. I got hold of it a few years ago when it was just out of the shipping. Now at about 155.000 miles.
Other than some recent issues with the windshield wipers (I am cursed on these things; I have 2 other classics that also have/had issues with wipers) it has been very reliable. Took it on some long trips to Germany already. This year the plan is to head into France (24h of Le Mans).
