Yeah these plans are still in the works... AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH DAMN DECISIONS.....Hmmmm....I have been working on the pilots license since I was 15. I really have put a lot into the car, o well.......Still got to think about it. Thanks for all the input, you guys and gals are the greatest.
Hey, sounds like a plan, but if you really want to justify selling the Vette, don't just come to Florida and get a Private License, check out one of the schools down here where you can come and with about what you can get for your car, get anything all the way up to ATP..then check out the air lines and UPS who often hire directly from those programs.........I have been involved with warbirds and you-name-it for a long time, and I think you would be glad you did it the way I am suggesting......UPS Jocks are making something like $150,000/Yr working 13 days a month....doesn't suck, and you can buy any Vette your heart desires...IMHO...
BEST OF LUCK!!!

Will
You seem like a really sweet guy yourself. I miss my first vette, an 87, but I don't really REGRET it, I mean now I have something better than it was, and love the new one...but the old one will always be special because it was my first and I paid for it myself. But, everyone is making a good point, that you just sunk a whole lot of money into it vs what you could get on a sale, so that makes it kind of tricky. Just do what you think is best!! Easier said than done huh. ;)
I'm 21, living the dream in fl at FlightSafety, I have my 87 Corvette, LIFE is made for airplanes and Corvettes, but.... if your going to sell the Vette, make sure you plan on going further than just your PPL, PPL is rewarding but can be done over the long hull. But by all means if you need the cashola to continue education..... well, youve got to do what youve got to do.

Here is what i could do
GO back to the PIzza Place Job @ $8 an hour. Work there for 5 or 6 weeks (@ 50 hours a week) while the other guy is on vacation. Take that money and come to Florida and get my PPL. I would definatley like to get more certifacations then just the PPL. It would be awesome to have my cake and eat it too. Hmmmm corvettes and airplanes...what a world..... Thanks All
