Estate Sale of 1989 Corvette for $11,000
I attended an estate sell yesterday. There was a very nice black with red interior 1989 C4 with 54,000 miles. It was in excellent condition but the mechanical condition could not be validated as the auction did not permit anyone to drive it. I noticed the intake gasket had some leakage and the C4 had not been inspected in two years.
An elderly gentleman bought it for $11,000. He told me he was going to bid up to $12,000 which he did not need to do. Very interesting purchase price. My thoughts were it would sell for about $7,000. Who knew? Great sale price for the estate.
