My C4 on the Hot Rod Power Tour
Ariel shot of the Long Haul Gang that traveled the whole tour from Fla to the GM Proving Grounds, Michigan.
Little hard to see, but I'm 16th from the left on the first row.

Yea, Greag, Hats from Edelbrock with an autograph on each and of course the overpriced t-shirts from the tour.
The Aerial photo I posted was from Don Coles who did the center page aerial spread for Hot Rod Magazine. Just got it in the mail today.

Will probably skip the Tour next year and if the world doesn't end on my son's birthday (Dec, 21, 2012) than I'll have to see where the tour is in 2013. I really, really hated the roads up north. Thought my Vette was gonna have to be put back together after some of the excursions up there. At one point I thought the front windshield was coming loose while riding along and bouncing over the concrete slab dividers. Then I fiddled around, found my wrench for the top and gave each bolt about 5 full turns to bring it back down tight. The roads had loosened the bolts to the point that the top was bouncing up and down. At least after that, I was still bouncing but it was a solid bounce, just had to remember not to grit my teeth or they would have chipped away.

The start will be in Detroit again, they announced that at the end of this years tour.
Rumor has it, that since Muskegon was such a great stop they will be the stop on Sunday after leaving Detroit next year.
So, a very good chance the PT will come through your area again next year.

I am betting that there will be a stop in Springfield MO. They have been there 3 times on past tours.
I am still trying to decide if I want to continue these tours. I think it would be so nice to head somewhere else for once.
Talked to the wife about just skipping the tour, but still taking the time off and going out west. Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, etc.

Beautiful car, I really like those stripes on it too. I was considering the skunk stripe until I saw your Lemans type stripes, any more pics of it?
