Default Which seat is which?

I am the very happy owner of a '95 C4 LT1 Roadster which I bought a scant 2 weeks ago . I have the standard seat option and the trim on my seats is quite symmetrical and traditional in design with straight bolsters and rolls.

I note that there is also an assymmetrical seat design (3 curved panels on cushion and curved design on backrest) which also seems to be found on 1995/1996 models. When did the switch happen?

That picture from memory looks pretty much what my '95 has in it. This is the other non-sport seat that also seems to be fitted to '95 cars. Although this particular seat is embossed with 'Collector Edition', it is what I am referring to:

As an aside, my bud has a `85 with the sport seats. Every time I try to get in or out of that car, the damn controls in the seat wing try to take off some important body parts. I am much happier with the standard seats in my `87. (yeah, yeah, I know I`m getting old)

I am now even more confused because I thought that the sports seats had inflation controls built into them such as these:

If the wavy design is the new sports seat, where are the adjustment buttons?

So to recap, my 1995 LT1 has seats similar to the above but with no inflation system or controls. So I think that my original question about the date of the change to the more wavy and asymmetical seat still hasn't been resolved.

That is the standard seat for '94-'96 models. Earlier years were different.

Only for the '94-'96 years.

This picture shows an earlier year seat (looks to be a '93 I think).
For '94-'96 sport seats, the control buttons are on the console not the seat.

If you have no inflation control buttons, you have the standard seats.
The very first picture hitmanpty posted.
