Default Has Anyone installed 17x9.5 ZR-1 style wheels on all 4 corners?

Hi i am thinking about installing ZR-1 5-spoke wheels on my vette, and thought if i should go with 17x9.5 on all 4 corners.

Also i would like to know if the offset of the rear collectors edition vette is the same as the offset of the ZR-1 fronts?

Thanx

from your profile, it looks like you have an 85 - i'd go with aftermarket zr-1 repros since with factory zr-1 wheels, you will need spacers to get the correct offset. i installed AFS repros on my 85 years ago. they were 9,5 x 17 (4 corners), correct offset, decent quality and price...

My 96 LT4 has them all around. It had them on when I got it (I thought they came that way). I'm liking them. There are no clearance issues at all.

Same thing I have on my 93, rides and handles well. An added benefit if you mount non directional tires is being able to rotate side to side and front to back which greatly improves wear.

No problem with the 9.5" on all four corners. That's what the Z07's and the '96 Z51's had as the stock size.

Should be 275/40/17's. The base suspension cars used 9.5" rear wheels with 285's, so they're probably work too.

The cars that came with 9.5" front and rear from the factory had 275/40-17 tires.

The base suspension:
Front: 8.5" wheels with 255/45-17 tires
Rear: 9.5" wheels with 285/40-17 tires

Either one will work just fine.
Here is mine with 9.5" ZR1 replicas using 285/40-17 rear and 275/40-17 front.

Chrome 9.5s all around on my 94. 285/40/17s all around. Nothing has ever rubbed and you get a bonus....
If you want, the "C5 brake-upgrade" clears these wheels. (Some say "not so", with "Saw blades").

Yes,I installed all 4 17x9.5 with 56mm offset. Got them from DOC Z. Fit great and have the c4 logo center cap. I have a '94 c4.

17x9.5 on all 4 corners came with Z51 and Z52 packages in '89 and with the 35th Anniversary. It was stock size '89-'92. '93-'95 it came with Z07 package and the '95 pace car, in '96 with Z51 package again.

They all got the same offset and backspacing as the ZR1 front wheels (and the Grand Sport Coupé front wheels, the Grand Sport Convertibles rear wheels and all '93-'96 base rear wheels).
