An LS swap get together! That could be fun. What do you say Ch@0s? Any vette shows later this year or early next in neutral territory, say Colorado or New Mexico?
Looks like they have to use the Corvette manifolds after all. The F-body manifolds put the exhaust too close to the firewall & looked to toast the starter wires as well.

I would love to say yes but my swap is moving slower than yours. I would love to meet you guys in person one day.
I don't know how we got to the subject of your "meat".
All joking aside with the kind of horsepower you are going to be making do you think the IRS will stay together?

Seriously? I have F car manifolds on mine now. Getting the exhaust done this week. I have a set of C5Z06 manifolds as well but they hit...wait for it...the starter. WTF?
Maybe I need to get a Corvette starter instead of the Caddy one.

I probably could have gotten some things cheaper by mixing and matching but I felt the extra money and time searching was worth going with as many parts from one model. Since I'm using 2001 Corvette motor and accessories I decided to stick with C5 vette manifolds, starter, clutch, FW, alternator...etc.
Two reasons, I knew it would all work together and fit (not just in the C4 but on the motor itself), and if I need to replace something I don't have to try and remember what year Caddy, or Camaro or Trailblazer SS the part came from.
It's amazing how many little tweaks they do from one chassis to another and how every tweak requires a flowdown tweak.

All my stuff is either 91 corvette or 98 vette exept for the PCM and wirirng that are 99 camaro. It's also the reason my thread is so long. It's either in my head or there. I have very few notes in a binder mostly about the wiring and a box full of receipts. If my wife ever goes through it I'll probably have to buy her a new car.
