Course, opinions vary; not a bad thing.
To the OP: Congratz on the C4. My wife has a 69 C3 vert, and I love it too. BUT! There is a world of performance difference between the two (as you are finding out, I'm sure!).

It seems dark colors really POP with chromies. I thought I liked the brushed aluminum "salad shooters" on my 90 Z. Then I came across a set of A-mold chromes. Wow! They really make the whole scheme stand out.

You feel the difference between the two (C4 and C3) and the 69 is quite a bit more powerful than the 75. The 75 was the weakest Corvette since the 54 (with the 6-cylinder engine). It is no wonder that Ben will feel a difference walking to the C4. He now has about twice the RWHP and in a platform that weighs nearly 200 pounds less! An automatic L48, in stock condition, was about a 10 second 0-60 car that would not break 90 in the 1/4 mile.
I will bet that part of your feel difference walking from the 69 is being that you are used to the ZR-1 which is a totally different ballpark from even the LT1.

You are very right about the two cars, BUT you have forgotten one thing. Yes my car is a 75 coupe, but soon it will be the ultimate sleeper. It will look totally stock on the outside, but will have this between the fenders:
In a couple of weeks, my slowest production corvette ever built will be faster than my 92 with around 350 horses and 400 torque

That you are right, you did note that, and thank you for it. I have actually had people at car shows scoff because my car is a 75 and the slowest one ever. Can you believe that?

That will be the best of both worlds. Great styling of the C3 and great performance.

I have always loved bright aqua metallic on C4s. Every time I dig under the carpet inside mine I see it's original BAM, and am sad that one of the POs painted the car atomic orange (a good looking color, just not the same).
I do however have a question, several people have been talking about the color of the wheels, and I am trying to figure out what is what. My sawblades (which are also great looking on C4s) have whatever finish that was on them wearing off, which detracts from the look of the wheels.
Thanks for the help, and enjoy your C4, it's a different beast from a good old C3.
