Amazing. I too am a 91 owner and love the car. I too vote for keeping the chrome sawblades. They look awesome.

Very moving Corvette real life story and a really good ending. It really goes to show, Corvette is a way of life. Once someone has been graced by them they always always come back.
Amazed too that after your stint in various Fords (I too love my Fords and grew up learning and driving Fords) you came back to the car you really wanted and loved.

Calvin it's always nice to read a story like that. I'm really glad for you and your father that you have that BEAUTIFUL vette back home where it belongs. I think one of the best parts of the story is the relationship you and your dad have and the passion you share for cars. Not ever father and son story is as good as yours. The best to the both of you.
PS Keep the chrome sawblades they look AWESOME on your car.

Yes I like the silver [factory] Sawblades myself. I have 2 sets. The originals off my 1991 and a set on the car now from a 1992. I keep a spare set as parts for these C4s are getting rare. Im not looking to sell a set but If you ever run out of options looking for a silver set PM me as i may? let other set go? Knowing they will go to great cause. What month was your car built? mine was 7/91

Great story. I bought my 86 from my dad but your story is by far a more engaging tale. It is rare to find your old car in great shape with low miles, especially if it is a C4. That color was always one of my favorite C4 colors plus you don't see too many around.
And welcome to the madness.
