I had a L98 with an auto and 3.07 rear gear. I though that it wasn't too bad. Then I wrecked that car and bought another 90 with a 6 speed but it didn't have a rear end in it so I put the 3.07 in it. It wasn't too bad, but I took out that dana 36 and put the dana 44 in it that should have been there. It has 3.73 gears in it now, but wow what a difference. I like it personally. I did that and long tubes and the car feels much different now then it did. Mostly my drone went away depending on rpm (I have muffler eliminators and no cats, and now longtubes), The car is much more fun to drive now though. I do autocross but I haven't raced yet since the long tubes and rear swap. My first race will be may 19th and 20th so I can let you know how it works, but I can tell that it pulls much better from down low now! If you want a dana 36 with 3.07 gears I have one that I would probably sell. I wasn't sure if I should keep it as a spare or not so I haven't listed if for sale yet.
