Default Corbeau A4 seats installed in '85 Z51

I bought the black cloth Corbeau A4 seats and correct brackets to bolt to C4 floor. Very happy with these seats. They look like they belong in the old '85 Z51. $948 shipped to the door , seats and bottom brackets. C22057L and C22057R are the Corbeau bracket part numbers I believe (for C4).

Do you gain any more head room using these seats? I had to make a custom seat bottom for my car so that I could fit with a helmet (I'm 6'5" 250 lbs). I might be looking at doing some seats next year.

How do you tell if your car is a Z51 or base?

There should be an RPO code sticker on the inside of your center console lid. Once you find it, just look for the code that says Z51

Yes, you gain considerable head room, I'll SWAG at least 5 inches.

does anyone think it would look crappy if i bought one of these for the drivers seat but not the passenger? I would love the feel, and the headroom, but my passenger doesn't have to be so fortunate

How do you like the cloth? I am think about getting a set of the shaved ones (I am 6'4) but I am not sure if I want to spend the extra $300 on swede or just go with the cloth.
