Good luck with that. The CCM does a handshake with the ECM, It is something not easily replicated.
Another option... I would have done this if I were keeping the 700 or I was manual is a micro squirt to run the LS engine.
They are cheap and the programing software is free...its a very small ECU.
Here is a ECU and wiring for 700..but if you work your own harness you can do it for about half.

For my C4 there are a few things I want that I cant find on the market.
Mostly, I want tow hooks.
I also want a Shinoda-esque rear spoiler since I cant find any shinoda kits and I only like that spoiler anyways.
Lastly, tail-lights with that diffused led just like all the new cars. (Hopefully with a yellow turn signal...)

There are rear spoilers like that for other cars now. Check ebay.

OP ifyyou can offer high quality stuff (that is not just looks like it) there is still a crowd that will buy. Not huge but its there.
These cars are cheap so many are bought by first timers and scoff that a part costs more than it would for a camaro so beware.
There are some that do well selling pieces for these and others that...well look at Renegae intakes. Nice piece, good price and all Ive read is "Oh its too much my car only cost $1500" lots of haters on the net really discouraging for a mfr.
The stuff on hubs wearable items is good...same with electronics the obsolete stuff
If there wa ssome way to make a replacement firewall forward harness repop plenty would I bet or a straightforward way to do it say with weatherpacks etc. thats what scares me away from aging EFI cars as this is what turns them into unreliable hoopties

Grand Sport style fender flares that actually fit the car.
LED tail lights that look factory and/or smoked.
Water Proof optispark.
8" or 10" speaker box that replaces the rear storage area. Or at least plans for one.

This guy has not seen or replied to this thread in over 2 years. I'd say he figured it out. Majority of c4 owners don't have spending money, those that do spend on racing or real mods, and there are not enough people on board with any one idea to justify it.
