car is taking awhile to turn on
Hey guys whats up wondering if you could help me out, my baby usually takes a second or 2 to turn on when i turn the key like it goes fast, but lately it has been taking longer like i actually have to hold it turned for more than usual any ideas on what that is?? sometimes it doesnt start like you have to keep holding it... if anyone can help me please do so its annoying cause sometimes i get scared it wont turn like it does once in awhile!

Its an 85 and yeah while turning it takes longer before the engine will start compared to the previous days where it would just one quick turn and bam its on

There are a number of things resulting in hard starting. Do you have an FSM?
Air Fuel Spark...
I'm going out on a limb to say fuel is most likely the problem:
Fuel pressure is what?
When it does start, is there a cloud of black/gray smoke from the tail pipes?
What do the plugs look like? Are they sooty and black, or brownish-white?
Have you done a leak-down test on the injectors?
If you can fill in some of these blanks, it would be a help.
