1986 Spark Plug Wire Separator Brackets
I'm in the process of installing new spark plugs, wires, spark plug separators and the brackets that hold the spark plug separators. I contacted a corvette salvage and requested those brackets and received a whole hand full of brackets and bolts.
My problem now is that I have no idea on how those brackets are to be attached to my 350 engine. There is still one bracket attached to the front of my drivers side valve cover, but I have no idea how to attach the brackets that I received.
Can anyone tell me, better yet, give me pictures or instructions on how those brackets are to be attached? My engine is the 1986 350.
Thank You,
Bob Kuenzli

Thanks Kerry Newman!
Your picture proved my suspicion that the brackets I received were for a newer model Vette. The brackets I received had two holes for mounting and the remaining bracket on my Vette is mounted on one of the valve cover bolts.
I'll contact Dino's tomorrow and ask them to look again for the brackets for a 1986 350 Vette.
Does anyone know the exact number of the brackets needed for the 1986 350? I'm looking for the brackets that hold the spark plug wire separators. Are there suppose to be a bracket on each valve cover bolt?
Thank You,
