What's your favorite thing about your C4?

Melting Slicks
I like the Color combination of black top black paint.

also with post#2. I enjoy the way I have to drive the car or its gonna bite me in the azz, the rawness of it gives it character. I have driven the C5 &C6 and they are so easy to cruise in that I get bored.

I love driving it!
Great handling for a 25 year old car!
I have had the new Mustang and Challenger but this handles as good until you lose traction. Since this does not have the modern traction control system that the newer cars have. But I guess that is what make it more fun to drive...

The clamshell hood for starters, for years I have always thought was the coolest thing ever!
I really like the body lines of the car. Many people look at it as a squared wedge, but the nuances of the body lines, the hood and wheel wells, and the overall sleekness from front to rear.
I think perhaps my favorite thing, however, is the cockpit. Unlike, I think, any other Corvette, or any other car, (barring six figure euro glam rides) this is a car you wear, not sit in. Driving the C4 is a truly visceral experience, and that's what I'm in it for

Outside of it's old age problems I like just about everything about the car. If I have to narrow it down I think for me it is the blue/blue color combo since it is no longer available.
Hard to explain, but I had a 66 blue/blue in 73 and I always liked that combo. I also liked the way the mid-years rode and felt when driving.
My first experiece with a C4 was an 86 vert and it had the same feel of the mid-year. I had a 72 at the time and while the looks are killer I just never got the same feel from the C3s (had a 71 BB and 72 SB).

I love how you step down into the car and it cradles and surrounds you like a cocoon. Makes me feel like im part of the car. C5's and C6's (in my opinion) don't support you very well and you feel disassociated with the car.
And yes that fact thats its paid for also.

Safety Car
Its a fairly big sports car but once at speed it feels MUCH smaller. I'm amazed by my C4 everytime I auto-x it. It does NOT drive big at all. Unlike the new Camaro and such...
Things I like:
Clamshell Hood
Clean Elegant Body, timeless styling. Sleek and Sexy.
LT1/ZF6 combo.
SEATS!!! Best EVER put in a Corvette. PERIOD.
Good Gas Mileage
Good Cargo Space
Excellent visibility for a sports car. Ever drive a 350/370Z? You cannot see crap out of those things. No cargo room either.
Parts are cheap and easy to find.
I love the "cockpit" interior.
Best C4 attribute: Its a combination of old school C3 and back and new school technology. Still has that old time religion feeling with EFI, ABS, ASR, etc....without being disconnected and "civilized" like the C5 and C6 (Z06's and ZR1 not withstanding) is MOST of the time. You have to be driving fast to have fun in a C5 and up. If I wanted a "civilized" sports car I'd buy a Aston Martin or something.
I want a car that has *****, is manly, and NOT afraid to show it. America F-Yeah!!!
The fact NOT everyone else is rolling around in one. Few clean C4's running around these days on a consistent basis. One of the few around my parts that is used for auto-x. Its fun being different.
