Default marker lights

just noticed that the side marker lights (front white and red rear) on the right hand side of my car, 94 coupe, dont work, ive not had a chance to check the bulbs yet but I was wondering if they are on the same circuit or have their own fuse, not likely I know but it seems strange that both are out together

The front side (white) lights are only supposed to come on if you have your turn signal activated for that side.

Interesting.. they are both on on the drivers side when the head/tail lights are on! Im getting kinda confused just what lights are meant to be on at any one time!

I see your in the UK?
So, perhaps that has something to do with it being upgraded to UK specs?

For the US cars, those front white lights are called "cornering lights".
They only come on when the head light switch is turned to one of the two "on" positions (either parking or full headlights) AND the turn signal is activated for that side.
Under normal driving conditions, they are not illuminated.

I know some lighting modifications have to be made for export cars, just not sure exactly what all that entails.

Hmm... you could well be right, just went out to check what happens when the turn signals are used, with the head/tail lights on, the only difference to what ive already outlined is the small orange light behind the white light on the drivers side is flashing, nothing on the passenger side, probably some weird UK spec! I'll check the bulbs tomorrow when its light

Yes, that orange light is supposed to flash with the turn signal.
Of course it should do that on both sides though, so you could have a bulb burned out.

Well I learned something new! I don't drive that much at night, so I didn't really pay attention! Thanks RollaMo-LT4!
