- When you know you can balance a nickel on the intake manifold end up with the engine running
- When your RPMs still have a 1000 or so to go after an LS motor runs out of breath
- When you know that even though the C6 ZR1 next to you is faster than you, he won't stay with you in a 24 hour enduro without blowing up first
- When opening up the clamshell draws a significant crowd at car shows

When you drop into 6th and watch the tachometer drops to almost nothing as you drive 70mph all day.
As you fall into and climb out of your C4 each time.

She's like my ex wife when we first met; I spend all my time and money on her and I'll likely blow a rod before the rides over. But, the thrill didn't wear off with my 88
